Finding changing before and after swimming lessons stressful

Anyone else doing swimming lessons with their LO and struggling with the changing etc before and after? My LO loves his swimming lessons so want to keep it up but it's starting to give me anxiety beforehand as it's just a nightmare to get him changed/dressed as he's just so wriggly now! It wasn't so bad when he couldn't move but I really struggle now, especially when I need to get changed. There isn't usually any space in the playpen so I have to put him on the floor and he is a nightmare. Any suggestions on what I can do to make it easier/less stressful? 🙏

Put your swimsuit on at home. This way you'll only have to take off your trousers and top (or whatever you're wearing over it). Makes it much easier.

No tips for changing after. It's a struggle for us as well and we tend to go as a family...

We’re in the same situation. What if you try sitting him on changing mat on floor with a biscuit or something while you quickly get changed. I’ve not done it on my own yet so haven’t tried this but might keep him distracted for a little bit

I wrap my LO in a towel and put him in his pram or a changing mat and distract him with a biscuit while I change. That always seems to work

I have two towels, wrap him up super snug so he can't escape and make sure I have super baggy/easy clothes to throw on so it takes seconds to get myself dressed. If you're going straight home and feel comfortable to then just go braless which again makes getting dressed quicker. For them pick the easiest clothes to dress them in you can so it's also super quick. Make sure the vests are stretchy or just skip alltogether and throw on a big jumper and pair of baggy trousers. Failing that, see if there are any other pools close enough to take them that have better facilities

If you are at a leisure centre with a cafe etc ask if you can take a high chair into the changing rooms with you, I get my little girl ready while I stand freezing wet and naked lol and then sit her in the high chair with a toy or snack while I get myself and bags sorted!
