Life vests or armbands
When we go away my little girl will be 18 months when we go away in May. My eldest daughter at this age had armbands for swimming and was fine, loved it. I’m not sure my second wild child with a love for adventure is going to like armbands, I’ve thought about getting one of those life vests. Are they as good as armbands? Are they better? I don’t know which to do.

We use a life vest for my 2 year old since she was 14 months so much better imo than arm bands as they can’t take it off themselves
I'm a big believer in not using anything at all! You have to be with them in the water anyway, so just hold them.
I appreciate the advice Charley unfortunately there is no way on this earth my little girl would let me hold her in the pool. She’ll want to be off with her sister x
Do you go swimming already? Does she have much water confidence? Because there's no way she'll be able to keep herself/ her face above water with arm bands or a life vest, so you'll literally have to hold her.
The vests tip them forward onto their bellies.
