World book day at nursery

What is everyone dressing their babies up for nursery for world book day? As they’re do small and also in nappies what do you even dress them up in? But also want them to dress up and take part as it’s so cute and his first one!

My husband bought our son an Elmer costume 😂😊 our nursery are celebrating all week so I’ll send him in like Gruffalo T-shirts or something 🙂

Got my daughter a duck costume 🥰

Tbh, no... Wasn't wasting money on 2 costumes they'll only wear once. Did buy them both new t-shirts though, so at least they've got those to wear!

My son's going as the butterfly from the very hungry caterpillar, we're making some simple wings from cardboard and paint/felt tips and then just wearing his normal clothes so we don't have to buy anything and keeps him occupied so a double win! 😅
