Jealous rant

This is my second pregnancy and it’s looking like I’m going to have to be induced again. (High BP). I can’t help but be jealous of the women who go into labor spontaneously without medical intervention. I tried so hard to keep my BP down this pregnancy. It just makes me sad to think my body can’t do it like others can 😔

i felt that same way when i had to have an emergency c section a few weeks before my due date :/ today wouldve been the day he was due too. makes me bittersweet but as long as our babies are happy and healthy in the end it makes up for everything else- at least to me :)

I never had high blood pressure in my life, not even earlier in this pregnancy. Then at 35 weeks everything changed. Now I’ll be induced at 37 weeks because of high BP 😣

I won’t lie… I’m scared and even guilty, wondering if I could’ve done something different. Just praying that my baby will be healthy 🥺🙏🏻

I had an emergency csection with my first after laboring for almost 24 hours and pushing for almost 2 hours. I really wanted a redemption birth to have a VBAC this time around. I ended up having a second csection this last Thursday. It sucks and I feel you hard on this just wishing our bodies did things the way they were intended (to rub salt in my csection wound, I had to listen to a woman through the wall get her natural birth without epidural and heard her pushing and being coached and the baby crying after being born) but trying to put a positive spin on it, we carried our babies to a safe gestational age to thrive and that counts for something. This is what I tell myself. We may not have gotten the outcome we wanted but we got the end result of a beautiful little baby, and I'm focusing on that part instead this time.
