Had it with my first for night feeds. Used the nuby rapid cool with my current 7 month old. I prefer the rapid cool compared to the prep machine.

We used a prep machine when our boy was little, although we regularly changed the filter and cleaned it still gave him a really bad belly! As soon as we stopped using the prep machine it cleared up x

I got asked when my son was born if I was using a prep machine and the midwife said "oh good" when I said no 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ll probably stick to the rapid cool, thanks everyone

The bottle never were as warm as my baby wanted

I love my prep machine! We ignore the instructions and do all the water in the bottle first and then the formula, rather than the hot shot and then the formula and then the rest of the water. My daughter has never had a problem with it

I love my prep machine, never had any trouble using it nor has my daughter 🙂

We have used prep machines for both of our kids with zero problems, regular cleaning and filters it’s always worked perfectly (along with swirling not shaking the formula makes such a difference!) it’s so handy for middle of the night feeds,
your supposed to wait 3 hours in between using the rapid cool and I have spilled a bottle on more then one occasion when tired and had to remake it straight away 🫣

We love our prep machine, especially with night feeds as we’re still up every 2-3 hours. During the day I’ll alternate between the machine or our rapid cook, honestly it’s wherever the formula tub is sitting closest to ❤️ we got a heavy discount on ours from boots used saved up vouchers so we paid less than half price

Our hot shot was only 53 degrees so super dangerous could have made our baby really ill. I’d say use at your own risk, they’re not recommended for a reason. If you’re gonna use one make sure you check your hot shot temp an make sure it’s above 70 and I wouldn’t use tap water either until after 6 months, tommee tippee won’t release any evidence on how their filters make tap water safe when tap water isn’t advised til after 6 months

We were given one, so use it. My son is breastfed but hubs gives him a bottle at night. He loves how easy it is to use, especially if baby wants an extra bottle and he can quickly make one up.
