My daughter will be 6 months in 2 weeks and we are thinking of transition her to a crib and then her own room starting this week. Thoughts? We also have the owlet sock and camera.

Around 8 months old. However with no luck as he’s now 2.5 and still wants to be with us at night 😂😩

Around 9/10 months

My kids are 4 and 6 and we still bed share 😜

he’s 3 and we still bed share

I haven’t had my baby yet but as my partner works from home, the plan is to move our little one into their own room at 1 year old. The room that will eventually be babies will be my partners office until then - it can’t fit much in as it’s quite a small room/ more of a box room so it’ll just be their bed and possibly a set of drawers.

We started with naps and time in the cot on the couple weeks running up to 6 months, definitely makes the transition easier with it being familiar 😊
My first went in his at 6 months our second she went in to hers at 7 months she took longer to get fed up with the next to me crib 😅

From birth she slept though the night from 6 weeks

We just went based off when he was sleeping through the night or only waking once, for us it was around 3 months
He seemed to sleep better when we did, maybe because my motn alarms to pump weren’t bothering him anymore

Once she started sleeping a little better in the first half of the night we moved her. Moving her to her own space helped her sleep tremendously. We also do a floor bed though so it's fairly easy to go in and get her back to sleep since we just pretty down with her.

Mine is 13 months and I’ve only just built her bed, so hopefully this week 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Still haven’t, one is 5 and 3 yrs. We co-sleep, it’s the best for mental/emotional stability/secure attachment for children.

Mine outgrew his beside me cot so transferred him into his own cot in his own room at 7 months but we started introducing him to the room from 6 months by letting him nap in there. He slept much better in there, he's a light sleeper so every little noise in our room would wake him up when he was with us.

They say it should be 6/7 months MINIMUM that they are in same room as you so I was told when I was in hospital with my baby, for risk of SIDS

My son transitioned himself at 6 weeks. His nursery is much cozier than our drafty bedroom and he let us know that lol

Oldest: 6 months (6 years old now)
Youngest: 1 year old
They both share a room with twin beds.

7 months, we all slept so much better

19 months with my first because I co slept an she never slept in the crib and 5 months for my 2nd. We moved when she turned 5 months and she went right into her own room and slept thru the night since(besides when she’s ill or going through a regression) currently pregnant with baby 3 and probably will be between 6-8 months when we’ll transfer him
