Poorly babies
Has anyone else’s baby just been constantly poorly? My LO got a cold around November and ever since has been poorly. It doesn’t feel as though it’s ever really gone away but sometimes it’s worse than others. He did also have a sickness bug just before Christmas. We’ve seen medical professionals 4 times and they write it off as viral but at what point can it not just be viral when it’s gone on for months. He’s generally happy unless he’s feeling particularly off but the coughing is affecting his sleep, getting temperatures so is being sent home from nursery and then it’s also impacting me being back at work. I feel like I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place

My baby went through about 1.5 months of being snotty and not herself but she has come out of it now and seems fine. It just took her a long time to get over it x
My boy just after his 1st birthday has got everything, he’s just coming out the other side, he’s had a cold, conjunctivitis & severe tonsillitis as GP missed it! he’s still got a cold now but also cutting teeth x
Yes my little boy caught a cold day before his first birthday. His nose has run pretty much constantly since then and he has conjunctivitis with it on and off. We have been given a few days of antibiotics as he had alit of fluid on his chest. Not sure if it will help xx
Yes, but I put it down to nursery. He had norovirus in November, then countless colds, coughs. 2 weeks ago conjunctivitis, then norovirus again. He now has another cold/cough and had his 12 month jabs Thursday, so those two combined with molars coming through are making him just a tad irritable 😅.
Yeh we’ve had nursery germs hit us badly, I’ve had a blocked nose for about 5 weeks too.
My sons nose is constantly running and I just keep counting down the days to spring lol
Same here, as soon as she started nursery we’ve had a cold & cough one week then diarrhoea the next and now back to cold & cough
Same here for my little boy. He had a flu virus back in November which started his ongoing cough and cold which just never fully goes away. He started nursery in January and since then we have had a chest infection, conjunctivitis x2, tonsillitis, at least 3 x fever episodes, 24 hr tummy bug, projectile vom…and soooo much snot! It just feels never ending. Our illness ‘free’ time in the last 2 month has been 4 days! Before something else started 😑 oh and let’s not forget the teething thrown in for funsies! x
