Holiday recommendations - Canary Islands

I went to lanzarote in july last year..perfect temp. Enjoyed it but not much to do with very young LO. We walked a lot though and enjoyed it at least. Beach was hard work because theres no showers on the beaches (except one beach which was far from us). Made it hard work getting sand off the kids. I recommend bringing talc powder.. it gets the sand dry and easy to rub off. Im going furterventura in may!

Canary Islands are my go to now we have a little one. Flight isn’t too long, it’s safe out there, usually guaranteed sunshine and there’s plenty to keep them occupied. We’ve been both years when little one was 1 and just before his second birthday, to lanzarote and fuerteventura. Both times we went with TUI Blue all inclusive and they were fantastic for that age. They have kids clubs that you can leave them at if you want to, we didn’t but we did spend time in there with him for the toys etc. the food choices are also really for for fussy toddlers as they can take their pick and you don’t feel bad if they don’t eat it as you’ve not just paid for the meal. They have a baby/toddler room at each hotel as well that is just somewhere cool you can take them out of the sun and it has bottle prep stuff, sterilisers etc. I think anywhere you go in the canaries will be similar ish it’s just about finding the right hotel. Writing this has made me want to get booking again 🤣

Thank you so much!! What did you all do about nappies, did you just pack lots and take them with you? And for water did you use bottled?

Yep I took nappies, so with the travel pushchair it was in a bag so I shoved loads in there 😂 yep used bottled water
