Hi! Any moms taking Zoloft? I just weaned my daughter and it’s been pretty rough for me!

Been on it for about 10 years!

I started it about 3 months ago, the side affects were a little wild the first 2-4 weeks but once the second week of month 2 hit…it has changed my life. So if you can push through the first month then, it is worth it. I did bi weekly check ins with my psych too and that helped ease my anxiety about the side affects in the beginning. Also recommend taking it at night! It can make you very sleepy

Yes it’s been great. I took it during pregnancy too bc it was the only one they told me was safe for pregnancy

Also, I just want to affirm your feelings. When I weaned from pumping I had intrusive thoughts like clockwork- 3 days after each drop. I’ve never experienced that and it was really unsettling. I was grateful to have a perinatal therapist and definitely recommend one specifically trained in perinatal care!

I’ve been on it for almost 10 years and it has helped me enormously! Only side effects I ever had were some nausea and lightheadedness for the first week when my body was adjusting. You have to be careful not to skip a couple of days though or the nausea will come back!

I have for about 2 years! It has done absolute wonders for me!

I need to go back on mine

I was on it for a long time. I felt it was starting to be ineffective so I switched to Lexapro.
