Baby acne help!

Struggling with baby acne and clogged tear ducts. He is EBF and one month old. Pediatrician doesn’t seemed concerned and doesn’t think it’s a milk allergy. She says there’s no blood in his stool so I guess that rules it out? I’ve been using Tubby Todd all over ointment every night after his bath but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. I’ve tried breast milk but it just makes his skin sticky and crusty. He also has clogged tear ducts in both eyes. I was given an ointment and do warm compresses/massages 3 times a day. His eyes are not as crusty now but I just feel bad for him! He doesn’t seem to be bothered at all by either but I just want my boy to be happy and heathy. Any advice would be appreciated or experiences with the same thing!

Give him a breast milk bath for a week and make sure that you put the milk on his skin

Hey mama, you are doing an awesome job! Just wanted to share that sometimes if not, all the time baby acne it goes away you could try bathing, him in extra breast milk if you have any. Don’t use a lot of soap on him. Alternate on baths with soap, and no soap if you can. And if you wanna really check, if it’s your milk, you could try and not eating dairy products to see if that does anything to change in his acne.

It's normal love. You can try cleaning face with mild baby soap and water....or just water. Also what helped me was putting breast milk on it with a cotton ball. It works for pink eye, rash, acne... Breastmilk is magical.

It’s normal. It goes away. My baby had both. Don’t fret.
