Just got the gender results for our one and done - we’re having a little boy! I’m excited - I had a very strong feeling that it was gonna be a boy, but I have to admit that I’m a little sad I’m never gonna get to experience having a little girl, or see my partner be a girl dad, or watch my sisters be aunts to a niece

Congratulations 🍾🎉🎈

I have two little boys, and I promise you you’re in for such a treat. Little boys are such a gift, so tender hearted, adventurous, HILARIOUS, and so so so so so loving. You will never ever be bored, they are just absolutely pure sunshine. If I could have 100 copies of my two little boys I would. 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
Everything that you’re afraid of missing out on won’t even be a thought in your mind once you witness that amazing little boy, and especially as you get into age 2, age 3, etc, it’s just the best!! 🙏🏻

Totally understandable ❤️ I will say my little boy brings some much joy to my life and always makes me smile. He has become my shopping buddy, he asks to go to the mall, he’s well behaved since I have taken him so much to the stores. I have voiced this concern to my husband and my husband was like make him watch the girl Disney movies. My son now requests Cinderella (loves Gus the mouse) and Sleeping Beauty (for the sword fight). I know girls the same age can’t even finish Disney movies because they are too scary 😅. And I’m actually relieved I don’t have to do girl hair in the morning, we would never make 8:30am preschool on time if I did! Best of luck and hopefully one of your close friends or sisters will have a girl so you can still have the experience.

Same! I wasn’t planning on being one and done but honestly pregnancy has been so horrible and debilitating that I can’t imagine doing this with another child to take care of so we might be done. Such a weird feeling to be looking forward to meeting my son but grieving the thought of a daughter I never had
