Acid reflux
Has anyone been prescribed famotidine for there acid reflux and has it worked well this is my first time taking it and I’m just kinda nervous

I finally gave in and filled in the prescription. I take as needed mostly before bed and not every day. Definitely improved the quality of my life
It definitely helps. I was having to take it twice a day. I ended up having to get something stronger and went with Protonix. Once a day it works great!!
It worked the first 2 weeks for me, and then I grew more and it became much less effective.
Doctor recommended Nexium 24 hr capsules. Now I feel much better.
Side note- you don’t need a prescription for Famotidine. You can get it over the counter for like $6 as a generic in the event that insurance is making you pay out of pocket
Ive taken it my whole pregnancy and its a literal life saver could not live without it
