Toddler looks little
My baby boy, now 26 months, lookscway little than kids his age and even looks younger than kids who are only 18 months old. He was born just fine and weighed 3.25 kg too but idk why his height slowed down
I am 5"4 nd husband is 5"8
I grew up just fine, was taller than avg girls during school and college.
I am worried for my baby. Its not just height bit his overall build is smaller than other kids . Does anyone have any experience with this?
Will he eventually catch up?
He is still fitting in 18 mo clothes and 24o size is way too big for him
Have seen pediatrician alreafy but that was when he was 18 mo old and she said she wont worry abt his height until he turns 2 bcz he is otherwise healthy, super smart, communicates well, eats properly but what is stopping him from growing?

My daughter just turned 3 years old and wears mostly 18-24m clothes but plenty of 12-18m clothes still fit her 😅 most 2 year olds are much bigger than her but being a tall girl myself I think it’s definitely easier to find clothes that fit better growing up being petite rather than tall! I wouldn’t say it’s something to be concerned about unless they’re dropping centiles
Some ppl are just smaller and that’s ok my kids are allllll over the place with height my 18 year old is 5,5 male my 17 year old is 6,2 male my 16 year old is 4,10 girl my 12 year old is 5,2 male 11 year old 4,6 male 7 year old 4,8 male and my baby 14 months is 3,8 girl. As you can see they will be what they will be as long as they are healthy try not to stress 😊
My girl is 22 months old and still in 9-12 month clothing. I’m 5”1 and my partner is 5”8 so we knew our daughter would be short. She is also extremely skinny but she’s in proportion (2nd percentile for height and weight). Supposedly if they eat well and are in proportion there’s no concerns so I’m not worried
My son was always smaller than other babies/children his age and I remember wondering if he’d always be on short side when he grew up, he is now 14 and towers over me and most of his school friends!
