Bottle timings

How many bottles is your baby having and at what times?

We’re still giving 3 7oz bottles a day and occasionally one on the night if he wakes and won’t settle. He doesn’t eat loads of solids (probably because of the milk right) but I’m realising I’m anxious about him being hungry.

Currently he’ll have a bottle at 10:30, 2:30 and 6:30. Any advice of which one to drop would be appreciated. Thank you!

Our little one has 3 bottles a day. He gets his foods first and the bottle afterwards. If he wakes up at 7am, then breakfast around 7.30/8am (depending on when he gets hungry). Bottle about 1.5h later, around 9/9.30am. then lunch around 12.30pm after his nap and the next bottle around 2/2.30 pm. Another nap between 3-4.30pm and dinner is around 5/5.30pm and bottle around 7/7.30pm. Bedtime is somewhere between 8/8.30 pm.
When we gave the bottle first and solids afterwards, he drank about 1-1.3 litres of formula a day which was too much and he ate way less. Therefore we changed it and he is eating very well, I would say. The 3 bottles are usually 6-7 scoops of Kendamil goat milk formula, which results in 210-240ml milk per bottle.
We are thinking of slowly dropping the 2nd bottle midday and giving snacks instead but didn't start it yet.

My LO has just gone a year old last week. She has an 8oz bottle on a morning (cow's milk) at around 7am and an 8oz bottle on a night at bedtime at around 7pm x

My boy was also on 3 bottles a day until he’s been poorly for the last 2 weeks, & he’s gradually dropped his afternoon bottle, but now will eat more solids x

My baby is on 2. He has a bottle at bedtime around 7:30/8pm. He feeds to sleep so falls straight asleep after it usually. And then he has a morning bottle. He’s teething and I think going through a bit of a regression so he has a bottle around 5am atm and then goes back to sleep. I will sometimes give him a day bottle if he’s ill or hasn’t eaten much but he’s started eating a lot better since I cut out the afternoon bottle. I have replaced that bottle with a big snack so I still feel like he’s eating enough because I was worried about that too

We were the same and have now got him down to one at night before bed, and if he wakes then one in the night. We have replaced his day time milk with soya (cmpa baby) and only do 3-4oz at a time (he doesnt drink it as much as he did with formula). But he does eat big meals now plus two snacks per day

Thanks everyone for your replies, it’s been super helpful! I think we might try drop the afternoon one and see if his appetite for meals improves.
