Why comment??

When someone posts a yes or no question poll, why do people feel the need to comment with a whole explanation??
The question is "yes or no",
not
"Yes or no and why"
Or if you already voted, why do you feel the need to say what you voted for???
Obviously if you have a question about the prompt or are responding to someone who had a question then that's completely different.
Also if someone said something you agree with, why is there 50 people saying same???? Just like it and leave. You don't have to comment "same"

Is it just me??

🤷‍♀️ people like to have discussions.

If you don’t like comments happening & only want the poll results you can turn the comments off on your own posts

(To do so you’d press the three lil dots in the right hand corner of the post and then click ‘stop comments’)

I personally love reading the comments explaining why they selected an option on a poll.

If you don't like something move along? Most posts on here are like the ones you've mentioned above. If it bothers you that much why come onto an app that's going to annoy you?

Its the same as why some people post incognito when the posts aint sensitive, if you dont like how people use the poll you dont need to read it and no offence them asking for something that enquires people to wanna comment or share shouldnt bother anyone so for you to make this post i really dont see the point apart from you dont like what alot of people do abd had to make a post that to be fair is very pointless and you probaly gather that hence why you went incognito

I think sometimes people want to explain why they said yes or no, especially if maybe it is seen as a controversial topic or for example if the question was "did you have a c-section?" Someone may want to explain why they had a C-section
