Walking

So many posts like this currently, we all need to stop worrying! They will get there! All these schedules and weight charts are crap! They’re unique and will do it their way. Doesn’t mean anything’s wrong they just don’t walk yet

My 18 month old month old just got up one day a couple of days before he was 18 months and walked a couple of steps now there's no stopping him. They will do it in their own time. Just keep practicing.

My 16month old doesn’t walk yet. She sofa surfs and can walk while holding our hands. She barely stands without support.

As long as your child isn’t in a situation where they can’t bear any weight on their legs or are unable to lift themselves to a supported standing position, then it’s not a worry.

The above comment is true, every child will walk at their own time however sometimes there can be conditions with the muscles or joints etc causing this- but you would absolutely know that by now as I just mentioned x

My eldest wasnt walking until 18 months, all his peers were walking and he wasnt so I did worry (especially because he had hip dysplasia when he was born and I worried it affected him), once he started though there was no stopping him!
