Hi, I received my uc statement today and this is what it said:
Standard allowance: £628.10
You get a standard amount each month. You said you're in a couple.
Housing: £675.00 (minus £50 the rent is above the housing cap apparently)
(Our Current rent is: £725 but it will be going up to £800 in two weeks)
Monthly, we can pay you £675.00 towards your housing costs.
Limited capability for work and work-related activity (LCWRA)
£423.27
Total entitlement before deductions
£1,726.37
Deductions: £0
Your total payment for this month is
£1,726.37
It doesn’t seem like they’ve taken my partners wages into account (he earns £2,070.96 AFTER TAX)
Is it correct???
I have put in a journal message asking them to double check as we don’t want to risk having to pay it back if they decide it’s been overpaid.

I don’t think it is right either, I can message you screenshots of mine if you want to send me a message?

I'm not sure that's right either. Even with me only bringing in maternity pay of £808 a month, we've been receiving less than that. Our housing element is less though as the our local housing offer is only £525 a month so that's all we get despite our rent being £850

Is he self employed? If not the hmrc should have informed them already and it looks like they haven’t. I’d put a note on your journal saying this to see what they say

Wages should definitely have been deducted but if you look at the assessment period dates it may be your partner's wages fell out with those dates or their employer reported the wages to HMRC late x
