At what age did you start tummy time with your little ones? My son is almost 2 months old and I was wondering when a good time to start would be? Picture of my little man for attentionš«¶ā¤ļø

I started tummy time from birth with baby laying on my chest and then started to put her on her tummy on the floor or my bed when she was one month old, I would defo start asap as they do recommend you do this straight away as it help develop their strength to hold their heads

I started from birth so you can definitely start nowā¤ļø

Day 3 š ,I gave him 2 days to rest

We started with putting baby on our chests at a few days old and now shes on the floor. Sometimes Iāll use a boppy to help her prop up as well.
Sheās almost 2 months old

Itās a support pillow. I use mine for when I breastfeed as well. Both of my kids loved it

You can find them at walmart, target and probably online too. I would get multiple covers too

We started at maybe 5 days old? I waited till her stump came off but thatās not necessary

I also started tummy time from birth. You can go ahead and start now!

You can start tummy time from
Birth! It should be modified- like having baby on your chest while laying down counts or you can elevate their chests with a pillow

I started at birth on my chest and when he turned 2 weeks old I used a boppy (supervised) hes 4 weeks now and he still does tummy time on my chest or on the boppy

From birth. My 1 month old (and her sister previously) loves tummy time on pilates ball more than boppy. We put a blanket over it and then rock her to the sides gently.

I started with mine when we got back from the hospital, so on day 3. A few times a day before feeding

I think we started tummy time when she could lift her head up. She was looking around and picking her head up from Day 1, literally.

With my first, we mostly* did it on my chest. She refused to be out down. This also meant it took her until she was 6 mths to roll over.
With my 2nd he doesn't mind being put down on his mat and has been rolling over since he was 3.5 months.
You're not behind. Tiny time on your chest works. Tummy time on boppy works.

From birth, but youāre probably doing it naturally already, itās way too much of an instinct to not put your baby on their stomach on your chest. Personally I never like forced it on my kids or anything like that, I know some people take it that seriously, but itās not necessary, just set back in your favorite chair & let them enjoy trying to lift their heads to look at you when you talk, mine also loved standing in my lap, some people will say not to do that, but my philosophy is to just let them do what they want on their terms & in their order, theyāll tell you when they have a need or want & we can do the same thing back, āpull my hair, Iām putting you down bc I donāt like thatā, itās a great natural way to learn how to communicate with each other. As long as youāre interacting w/them & meeting their needs they kinda just show you what kind of support & encouragement they require from you, just keep listening & youāll be fine.
