Somebody lying

So my child, father‘s friend called me telling me that North Carolina is charging him with a stolen vehicle and a firearm, but these charges was not in North Carolina. They were in Virginia how can they charge him in North Carolina for a chart that happened in Virginia and then he told me that they that DeAndre cannot be around me but they will court order him to see his children, but I cannot be around when he sees his children. Is this true or is somebody lying?

We (NC) can hold someone out of state for extradition, meaning waiting to be transferred back to state they were charged in.

As far as court ordered visitation, yes technically they can make it to where you are not involved during the visit. You can fight for supervised visitation. Even if supervised by authorities (tho that usually happens when there have been claims of the child being in danger around that parent)
