Poo in the middle of the night

What would you do? My toddler has been doing poos at night while sleeping. I knew about tonight only because I happened to go into his room to check on him (and the smell gave it away) otherwise I wouldn't have known till morning when we wake him up for nursery. Should I check on him every night (still a chance that I don't catch a poo as he may do it later,) ? Can't monitor these things Via a baby camera

Honestly if it rarely happens monitoring him every night is not feasible. I would apply a thick layer of barrier cream to avoid severe nappy rash.

In the trenches đź«

My baby is almost 4 months, she was always so happy and smiley but recently she SQUEALS!!! if she’s not squealing, she’s crying, no matter what we do.

When we pick her up, she wants to move every two seconds and stiffens up and screams at us to move her, in the car, play gym, in her swing chair.. it’s relentless!!!

Anybody else experienced this?? I’m worried (although I hope not!) that because I never let her “self soothe” and responded to every sound she’s made that I may have spoiled her like people said and I laughed at?

Pic of my usually smiley girl so we don’t get lost 🩷

Who is in the same boat?

FTM to a 7 week old who has been incredibly chilled up to now bar problems with wind. From 6 weeks old he has been crying none stop and will only soothe with contact naps. I am unable to put him down and even on me he seems to wake up screaming crying for no apparent reason. He is absolutely fine at night but day times are a different story and he seems to go through a cry - feed - contact nap - cry- feed cycle until he goes down at night. I know this must be a phase but I am STRUGGLING. is anyone else going through the same thing?

Bottles

When buying bottles did you commit to one brand or did you buy a few packs of different brands for baby to try out?
I work in a nursery so over the years I’ve developed preferences over bottles, I’m not a huge fan of tommee tippee, I like mam and I love the nuk ones.
I found some adorable Winnie the Pooh nuk bottles but I’m unsure whether I should just commit and buy multiple packs as I’m worried that what if the baby hates the teet or bottle? But if I just commit to one would they take to that one because it’s all they will know? How did it work out for you?

Badger notes - 12 week screening

I’m due to give birth at the Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow. Had my 12 week screening bloods now over 3 weeks ago and still nothing on the app and not had a letter or anything. Didn’t wait this long with my first, anyone else has this? X
