Just wondering if anyone has had a c section recently, do you get one person in theatre and still get your second birthing person in recovery too?

I had a c section there in November 24 and that’s what the rules where then, the theatre room isn’t massive x

I had mine march 25 and it was deffo one person in theatre and I only saw one person in recovery but once you are in the ward there were more during visiting hours
Okay that’s perf, my husband is coming into theatre but as long as my sister can still be in the recovery bit! I had a really traumatic c section before and I just need my family there! Xx

If you are having an elective section, mine was absolutely wonderful after I had a long induction and emergency section for my first baby. The team are lovely and they explain everything. The most calm experience ❤️
I might have to have one because of a few complications, I really want a VBAC but of course I’ll go for what’s safest for me and baby girl, that’s what happened to me I had a 3 day induction and nothing happened! But I had so many problems after the c section so I am hoping they say I can still VBAC. Also recovery with a toddler sounds horrific haha, thank you for commenting that’s really helpful to know xx
