Why won’t he poo on the toilet

I potty trained my son almost a year ago he has no accidents and happily asks to go to the toilet for a wee but still refuses to poo in the toilet, I thought eventually he’d do it on his own but it’s been ages now and he’s showing no signs at all of going on the toilet he just waits until he has a nappy for bed and does it then and because he’s saved it until the evening his nappy most of the time leaks because he’s pooing so much
I don’t know what to do I’m tired of having to clean up exploding nappies almost every night he’s not getting a good nights sleep because he’s waking up when I need to clean him
Tbh I think a lot of it is stubbornness and because we’ve gone so long without intervening because I thought he’d pick it up on his own he’s just become used to it

With both of my girls I used m&ms and videos as incentive for a few months. But it might help to talk to him, he might have reasons you can address.

😔 Awww poor little thing. Learning the poo part takes longer for most toddlers to catch on and get comfortable with.

This is what I help families with who are struggling with your exact same issue. I offer private personalized potty training consultation appointments if you'd like some one-on-one guidance and support to help you navigate thru this.

I actually have an open time slot available for a consultation appointment to talk with you today as well as tomorrow if you'd like to get on this ASAP.

Feel free to take a look at my affordable plans and the various services I provide that would work for you hun. Here's my website! 😊👇
