Hey, I felt this last year. Our little boy came along in one of the many heatwaves end of July. There was only 1 after 😬
We found most of the time he was in a romper (short sleeves and legs) with no vest, just nappy underneath.
Or just a short sleeved vest.
Far too warm for anything else.

In the hospital we had him in just a sleepsuit no vest. We were there for 4 days after.
As soon as we got home. Rompers.
He didn't actually wear any vests until temps dropped in September 😅

Vest or romper when it’s very hot or just a sleepsuit for the evenings, my boy was born end of July too!

My son was an August baby and he was really only in footless baby grows. Babies are colder than us still even in summer so always need an additional layer so we just were normal - vest and baby grow.

Honestly my girl was born is June & she was mainly in a onesie when July came. & a nice light blanket in case she was cold but it was very hot.

Not sure where you are but where i live, July is quite hot. With my baby last year, I had her in half sleeve bodysuit, no pants during the day. And in the evening when it got a bit chilly then full sleeve bodysuit with pants

We're in Canada where the daily high and low can differ by 20°C. My daughter (born June) was in a vest and shorts during the day and I carried around a one piece tracksuit to pop her into if we were out in the evenings. I also had leg warmers to put on her when in A/C.
My son was born in October so I didn't think I would be able to reuse a lot of his onesies. Turns out she's really tiny and we could reuse a lot. (9 months and still in 3-6)

Congratulations!
My first was mid-January and my second was early July so I've been there lol
I had my daughter in short rompers or just a onesie and kept her out of the sun as much as possible. A cotton sun hat and a linen ring sling were super helpful too when out and about
When we had her in the bassinet stroller, we would attach two clip on fans to keep some air flow

My first was born in the heatwave of Aug 2022! Most of the time he was just in a short sleeved vest in the day time and bed time was the same or long sleeved onesie without a vest dependant on temperature at bedtime.
Keeping cool if you don’t have fans that you can clip to your bassinet / buggy drench a muslin cloth with cold water and wring out as much water as possible then tie it to the sides so baby is covered but don’t let the cloth touch baby’s skin as it will make them cold. This worked really well for us. Obviously just keep checking on them
