NICU experiencd
any other mums here had NICU time at sunderland hospital?
i was inpatient for a month before delivery, had emergency section, then baby needed a month of nicu time.
my care during my stay was great and my sons care was great but i found post natally i got 0 care? anybody else have the same experience?

Sunderland are just terrible for postnatal care in general, I had to go to my gp because they were useless xx
I was an impatient too. Had a c section and my daughter was in Nicu. The care before she was born and her care in the NICU was brilliant however my care afterwards was awful. Basically forgotten about because I didn't have a baby in the room. Was put in a room after the section and no one came to check in with me for 8 hours. No one updated me on my baby. I kept asking to get some help to get in a wheelchair so I could go to NICU to see my baby and was repeatedly told id have to wait for my midwife to come in. She never did. I never even met that midwife.
