I had a baby via c section 11 months ago and for the past few months I've been experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort when ovulating (at least I think that's what it is). This involves: a sharp uncomfortable pain across my lower abdomen, pain when having a wee on one side, pressure around my rectum especially when sitting, bloating, feeling sick, muscular pain in my legs, lower back and hip pain. Has anyone else experienced this?! 🙏🏻

I also had a c section and don’t get this when ovulating but I do when actually on my period.. since section/having a baby I get the worst period pains in lower abdomen and back, nausea, and also the pain you mention at the top of my legs. My scar also gets really itchy too weirdly! I think a lot of it judging from what I’ve researched is hormonal and can last a few years after a section, but if you’re worried it may be worth getting proper advice 🥰

Yeah i get it but i didnt gave a c section. Its pretty standard!

I had a vaginal birth with forceps and an episiotomy in sept 2024. I haven't noticed ovulation pain but the difference I've noticed since then is that my vagina (as well as the rest of me!) feels really bloated on the first day of my period and my episiotomy scar feels particularly tender and uncomfortable
