I noticed a small bump on my 3yr old son’s knee about two days ago and it looked like a bug bite. Then the next day it turned a little white like a pimple and today i see that the surrounding area is swollen as well and he feels very uncomfortable. After searching on Google it seems like it’s an staph infection. Has anyone’s kids gone through this? I also found some info on how it could lead to sepsis in a worse case scenario and wondering if I should take him to the doctor for this.

I absolutely would take him to the doctor make sure it’s not anything serious

That's not fun so sorry he's going through this. I can't make any claims... but I've heard multiple accounts and studies with doterra on guard essential oil being very effective in killing staph and inhibiting its growth... diluted of course (or use pre-diluted roll-on already made by doterra) and apply at 3-4x/ day or more. Consistency and frequency is key with natural remedies. And also I would suggest following up after anti- biotic with a really good probiotic. - doterra also has a great one that's on a watermelon flavored powder tastes great for kids and a unique one if a kind delivery that will actually make it through the stomach, not die in stomach acid.
