Those that have 3 children or more what is it really like?
I’m 4 months into baby number 2. We always initially wanted 3 but when we’re faced with how hard it is looking after a baby and how bloody expensive everything is now my partner is a hard no and I’m a maybe leaning towards a no. This breaks my mummy heart so much.
I’m one of 3 and always thought I’d have 3. But I’m struggling with 2, everything is so expensive, and I can imagine trying to get childcare for 3 is a huge ask.
I’m on maternity leave but will be going to back to work part time and I don’t know how we’d manage with maternity leave and money.
My last pregnancy was absolutely awful with sickness I genuinely don’t know if I could do it again with 2 children to look after.
But I keep thinking of 3 around the table in 20 years time. It would be a hard few years in the beginning but is it worth it?
How hard is it? Are you glad? Any regrets?

Definitely interested in this. I'm pregnant with my 2nd atm and having a really tough time with the pregnancy and a wild 3 year old. I've always loved imagining a big family, especially at Christmas, since I come from a small family, but man yeah with the cost of everything and how tough pregnancy is while looking after other kids im just not sure i could hack it... my dad suggested adopting older kids in the future which is definitely tempting but not sure
Pregnancy tired with a toddler is worse than newborn tired with a baby

I’m 6 weeks into baby no.3 and can honestly say she has completed our family. I had always wanted 3 as well so couldn’t have imagined stopping at 2 and that’s even with my struggling more with the transition from 1 to 2! I won’t lie, being pregnant with a 4 and 2 yr old wasn’t easy but I also picture the 3 around the table in 20 yrs and think it will be worth it 💕
