Motherhood
My LO will be 2 when 2nd baby arrives. I'm nervous as hell especially because she is so dependent on me for sleep.
What are your top tips when becoming a 2nd time mum with a toddler?

Family
I feel lonely in my marriage. I love my husband a lot and can’t imagine my life without him but I just feel like we have no relationship. I feel like we barely talk to each other, we hardly go out ( ofc children and finance is a huge reason for this) , but even when we’re at home .. we’re just either arguing or not talking. I just feel like I’m a single mother sometimes in my marriage more so because I have to ask to receive help. I get my husband is working but sometimes I just want him to support me without me having to tell him what to do. Am I expecting too much ? Is that all men ? Do they just always have to be told do things. Everytime I try to explain how I feel, it just gets turned into an argument and then he says he’s tired from work but I’m also tired and I get no rest and when I eventually go back to work, I’m sure I’ll be doing the same responsibilities. I just feel like although he says he loves me, that it’s just not the love I expected throughout our marriage. I don’t know if it’s just because he’s always so stressed about finances that it’s hard for him to be a husband or because he just thinks sitting on the sofa next to me is enough . There’s just so much, I could go on but anyone been in the same situation ? Any advice ?

Pregnancy scans
Has anyone found that for their second child (or further) scan dates have been pushed back?
With my first, I waited two weeks after finding out I was pregnant to register with the hospital. I got a 12 week scan immediately booked but was told if I had any more children, not to wait and to get booked in as soon as I know.
So, second time around, day I test positive I book in and have appts and scans immediately booked but noted both booking in appt and scan were a week later than usual so booking in at 9 weeks and scan at 13 weeks.
At first, thought it'd be holiday related given it was end of summer but midwife confirmed this wasn't the case but was because it was my second baby and I had no previous issues.
I'm all up for prioritising those who need, but can't help feel anxious I haven't had a scan yet as I want confirmation it is a viable pregnancy and having heard a lot of ladies I know have silent miscarriages or ectopics (and them not knowing I'm pregnant) I just really need to know to stop freaking out.

Pregnancy Week by Week: First Trimester
Right I need some advice/opinions! My first daughter is nearly 4 and is desperate for a “real baby” and it’s all she talks about! Myself and her dad were actually trying for another anyway and have recently found out we are expecting number 2 (only 5 weeks) When are we telling the first born? She has just asked me if there is a baby in my tummy as I was putting her to bed and I just answered with “maybe one day” 🤣 but not sure how long I can wait! We originally said we would wait until 12 weeks but feel like she’s going to catch on before then as already sick and very tired! Note to add - as soon as she finds out everyone in the supermarket will know 🤣🤣

Relationships
I just recently found out I'm pregnant unexpectedly. I'm slight excited but also am pretty nervous and hesitant about this. To give an idea on situation.. My daughter is 4. Her dad and I split up for about a year, still Coparented and were involved in each others lives. We decided to get back together and try again as the break happened due to kind of weird circumstances between us.. His dad was super sick and took all of his time and he left me hanging for a long time with the baby/post partum. Anyways, so it's been a short time we've been back together now and suprise, apparently pregnant. I have so many thoughts in my head.. Financially I'm stressed about it, just practicality about a baby in our 'new' situation so to speak. And my daughter and I are VERY close. She is mine, my bestie, wants me for almost everything, like we just are everything together to each other.. And I'm stressed about bringing a baby into our lives and rocking that dynamic. I don't want her and I to change what we have because it's so special and beautiful. Do I think it would change yes, as drastic as maybe I'm imagining.. No. I know, being a second though, same with my partner. That sometimes the first can feel forgotten in the busyness of a new baby and the second can be forgotten in the dynamic of a parent first kid bond. We've seen it and heard it from/with siblings all our lives. I need some help making my brain make sense.. What's your situation with two, how much did it change, iv heard one is one and two is twenty and that scares me. I also just got a new position at work which stresses me out to leave that in a handful of months. I had wicked post partum also which makes me nervous but the relationship with my daughter changing.. That scares me more. Help. Tell me what it was like if u were someone who maybe had similar thoughts. 🙏 Thanks in advance mamas
