12 week scan
Has anyone found that for their second child (or further) scan dates have been pushed back?
With my first, I waited two weeks after finding out I was pregnant to register with the hospital. I got a 12 week scan immediately booked but was told if I had any more children, not to wait and to get booked in as soon as I know.
So, second time around, day I test positive I book in and have appts and scans immediately booked but noted both booking in appt and scan were a week later than usual so booking in at 9 weeks and scan at 13 weeks.
At first, thought it'd be holiday related given it was end of summer but midwife confirmed this wasn't the case but was because it was my second baby and I had no previous issues.
I'm all up for prioritising those who need, but can't help feel anxious I haven't had a scan yet as I want confirmation it is a viable pregnancy and having heard a lot of ladies I know have silent miscarriages or ectopics (and them not knowing I'm pregnant) I just really need to know to stop freaking out.

Thats normal regardless of what number youre on. Booking apt takes place normally between 8 and 10w, 1st scan is around the 12w mark but not unusual to be at 13w
You can always pay for a private viability scan they're about 100 pound

Hi ladies, I was wondering how recovery was after having two c sections?
Iv had one and planning another. First recovery was fine but wondered how second one would be xx

We did it! Hit 37 weeks on the nose for our October twin boys delivered via c section.
For any mamas at Heartlands in Birmingham - BRING YOUR OWN BUTTER! The trust has removed butter and replaced it with margarine, thankfully I was pre warned 🤣

Mama's who had a VBAC after one c-section I have questions!
How long did you push for your VBAC?
Did your scar change the sensation /pain levels of your contractions?
What gestation did you go into labor with your c-section vs your vbac?
And only semi related to c-section, if you were induced with your first and not with your VBAC, how did the contractions differ?
Also if you got to 10 CM and didn't push before your c-section at all let me know because I'm extra interested in hearing from you since that was my experience!

20w scan
I’ve been for my 20 week scan today, baby measuring 20w 1 day, they’ve said I’m on the second percentile baby’s tummy is small, I’ve now been referred to fetal medicine clinic, and I’m so scared! I’m so worried 😟 any one been through this before?
