Right I need some advice/opinions!
My first daughter is nearly 4 and is desperate for a “real baby” and it’s all she talks about!
Myself and her dad were actually trying for another anyway and have recently found out we are expecting number 2 (only 5 weeks)
When are we telling the first born? She has just asked me if there is a baby in my tummy as I was putting her to bed and I just answered with “maybe one day” 🤣 but not sure how long I can wait!
We originally said we would wait until 12 weeks but feel like she’s going to catch on before then as already sick and very tired!
Note to add - as soon as she finds out everyone in the supermarket will know 🤣🤣

My daughter is 2 and loves telling everyone about the baby involved my tummy. We made it less of a thing and just discuss it as something to prepare for.

We waited till the first scan and then for 20 week scan we invited him with us so he could see it was so magical! Because he definitely didn’t believe us 🤣

My little girl was 2 when I was pregnant with our second but quite switched on. We also waited until 20 weeks to make sure everything was okay as we’d had a rocky pregnancy and didn’t want to explain a loss to her. We thought that anything before 20 weeks would have been such a long wait for her.
Such an exciting time ☺️

Wait till your ready for everyone to know bc toddlers keep nothing to themselves

We told ours at 8 weeks so around end of Feb? My daughter would’ve been not long turned three and my son was about 1.5. We told them at 8 weeks after we had a reassurance scan, as they kept jumping about the sofa/around my stomach and I had to keep telling them to be careful and we figured it was easier just telling them there was a baby there so they maybe understood easier why they couldn’t mess around on my stomach
Has anyone experienced being really breathless? Even just sitting it’s like you’re trying to take deep breaths?
I rang maternity triage cause I don’t remember having this in any of my previous pregnancies, I know I’m growing so that could be part of it! But they just told me to go to urgent care if I was struggling, but I was more worried about it being a sign of preeclampsia. Not sure what’s best to do!

Today is my due date and really thought he would come early as my daughter came on her due date. I don’t know how many times I can deep clean the house, wash my hair and attempt to shave despite being unable to see my toes😅 I am really struggling with the not knowing when it’ll happen/worrying it won’t happen naturally. I think having a 2 year old changes things massively!! Has anyone had a sweep 40 weeks and been successful🫶🏼

Heyyy ! First time mom here! Due December 9 so slowly but surely the time is coming for baby girls arrival. For the moms who had babies, when did you start prepping your body for delivery? I started do my stretches and getting things ready to soften my cervix. I’m stressing out about it since her dad has been missing since I told him I was pregnant.

Hi everyone, I’ve taken citalopram 20mg throughout my pregnancy and I’m due to give birth this week. I’m aware that they will want to keep baby in for monitoring afterwards for any withdrawal/adaptation symptoms (it feels awful even saying that 😢).
Has anyone else taken citalopram throughout their pregnancy? How was your baby after birth, and how long did you have to stay in hospital for monitoring?
I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences as I’m feeling quite anxious about it. ❤️ (I did come off it during my second trimester but it was decided I was better off taking it).

This was to a person who is family but I’ve just gotten to know in the last few weeks. So I’ve never had them in my life untill that past month. She’s been asking is the baby here every few days and I seen her the day before at a family gathering. So I was excited to tell her that I finally had the baby only to get no response or than she hearted the message. How would that make you feel? It made me so mad and disappointed
