Sending a message to announce your baby being born only for the message to be “❤️” and no response other than that - how would you feel?

This was to a person who is family but I’ve just gotten to know in the last few weeks. So I’ve never had them in my life untill that past month. She’s been asking is the baby here every few days and I seen her the day before at a family gathering. So I was excited to tell her that I finally had the baby only to get no response or than she hearted the message. How would that make you feel? It made me so mad and disappointed

Probably an appropriate response from someone who's only been in your life a couple of months? I wouldn't let it bother me

She might just be trying to let you enjoy your baby bubble and peace, not everyone wants to be messaging after they’ve just given birth and some people actively get annoyed if people keep messaging. If she’s only been in your life a short while she could just be trying to respect boundaries. Honestly don’t stress about it. Congratulations on your sweet little one and I hope postpartum is being kind to you 🤍

I had this happen to me too. But I get the feeling they are going through infertility so I didn't take it to heart.

Breathlessness

Has anyone experienced being really breathless? Even just sitting it’s like you’re trying to take deep breaths?
I rang maternity triage cause I don’t remember having this in any of my previous pregnancies, I know I’m growing so that could be part of it! But they just told me to go to urgent care if I was struggling, but I was more worried about it being a sign of preeclampsia. Not sure what’s best to do!

Bang on 40 weeks and starting to feel it🥲

Today is my due date and really thought he would come early as my daughter came on her due date. I don’t know how many times I can deep clean the house, wash my hair and attempt to shave despite being unable to see my toes😅 I am really struggling with the not knowing when it’ll happen/worrying it won’t happen naturally. I think having a 2 year old changes things massively!! Has anyone had a sweep 40 weeks and been successful🫶🏼

*Citalopram*

Hi everyone, I’ve taken citalopram 20mg throughout my pregnancy and I’m due to give birth this week. I’m aware that they will want to keep baby in for monitoring afterwards for any withdrawal/adaptation symptoms (it feels awful even saying that 😢).

Has anyone else taken citalopram throughout their pregnancy? How was your baby after birth, and how long did you have to stay in hospital for monitoring?

I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences as I’m feeling quite anxious about it. ❤️ (I did come off it during my second trimester but it was decided I was better off taking it).

First time mom

Heyyy ! First time mom here! Due December 9 so slowly but surely the time is coming for baby girls arrival. For the moms who had babies, when did you start prepping your body for delivery? I started do my stretches and getting things ready to soften my cervix. I’m stressing out about it since her dad has been missing since I told him I was pregnant.

Gallstones and pregnant

Hello. Anyone else have or had gallstones whilst pregnant? I have the odd gallstone attacks which a few times have left me in ED. I am on the surgery wait list. Did you still have keyhole surgery whilst pregnant or be told to wait till after ?
