Help :( does anyone have a link to a free crochet granny stitch cardigan please?

I’ve just followed one of the hexagon stitch ones, I’m only about 8 rounds in and the corners are flaying out.. I’ll add a picture but I followed the pattern. I’ve never made baby clothes before I’m wondering if my hook is too small?
It’s supposed the be a 90degree angle however the corners are pointing too much. It’s a tik tok I was following so I think it must have been an AI one or something!

Any advice welcomed, however also happy to try a different type of cardi pattern if you have a simple one.
