Virtual hangouts

Hey all. Anyone down for virtual hangouts after the kids go to bed? We could FaceTime or hang out on discord or something while we work on our projects and chat and relax after the kids go to bed at night. Let me know if anyone is interested in something like this.

Baby clothes

Help :( does anyone have a link to a free crochet granny stitch cardigan please?

I’ve just followed one of the hexagon stitch ones, I’m only about 8 rounds in and the corners are flaying out.. I’ll add a picture but I followed the pattern. I’ve never made baby clothes before I’m wondering if my hook is too small? It’s supposed the be a 90degree angle however the corners are pointing too much. It’s a tik tok I was following so I think it must have been an AI one or something!

Any advice welcomed, however also happy to try a different type of cardi pattern if you have a simple one.

I usually make blankets and plushies,

Happy to trade any pattterns !

Am I being fair🫣

Hi everyone, I’m making this post cause I would really like somebody’s opinion. I am new to selling my crochet work so I’m not entirely sure if I’m being fair but if I’m not, I would definitely like to hear feedback back but basically i made a baby shower gift for a family member to give to somebody and I had only charged them the cost of the materials and $25 to make the item altogether the entire thing costed them $50 when they were showing my work to another family member they had asked me to make them a jumbo Highland cow plushy and I went through the same steps. I told them that I would only charge them for the material and $25 to do the work. I made a video of what exactly the materials would cost with discounts applied to the purchase and the total came out to 38 and some change after the discount applied plus the $25 to make the piece. She’s looking at paying 60 almost $70 for the work and now I’m being told that I’m charging too much. Now as you can see by the picture it’s a decent size bear so I would need a good amount of yarn. If anything she commented that she wanted it bigger than when I showed her in picture so it’s gonna cost more than a $38 so I just need someone to tell me if I’m being fair or if I’m pricing it too much
