Help my sons ear.. Hey mamas, does this look familiar to anyone ?

My son has had this on his ear for a week or so, he says sometimes it itches when I first noticed it I asked and he said he fell over but this looks like nothing from a fall so just wondering if this looks familiar?

I agree that it doesn't look like it's from a fall as other parts of his ear/head would have also been hurt. Could he have itched it in his sleep ? My little boy had a scab more inside the ear and that's what it was. If in doubt I would take to doctor x
