Rome accommodation

Im off for a weekend in Rome. I need some tips on where to stay? I would like to be in the city centre or short cab ride away to the main attractions. I like the idea of staying near restaurants/bars. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks xx

No advice on where to stay as I can’t actually remember the name of where I stayed however I do recommend looking into the Omnia card/roma pass if you’re looking to do all the attractions, gives access to the hop on hop off bus tours so we used these a lot plus gives entry to some attractions/ discounts on others xx
