Hey ladies,
I’m a FTM and I’m wondering whether this is a partial water break or not. I felt a small amount of warm liquid down below. It wasn’t a lot and didn’t soak my pants but it was clear and had a water consistency. Was enough for me to question it, I am after all 40+6. I did try smell it, but I used kitchen roll to clean it up so I don’t know if the smell was sweet or not as I smelt more kitchen roll than anything 🙄😂
Since nothing more has come out, wondering if it was just my vagina cleaning itself. I’ve tried the Kegel test but nothing so I’m really unsure. Obviously my fingers are crossed more does make an appearance.

Call your labour ward for advice. They will probably invite you in for a check. With both of mine I only felt a small trickle to start with.

Girrlllll!? Why you asking on this app!? Call your labour ward and go in so they can check! Put on a pad and keep walking around if you can, they will want to see the pad when you go in to check any fluid on it

Yes sounds like your waters. It doesn't need to be a lot. Call triage! X

It does sound like waters, put a pad on and call your labour ward xx

Please call your labour ward! 🤞🏻

As others have said put a pad on as soon as possible so you can catch any further leaks. When my waters broke it was unmistakable and I had continued gushing every 15 mins or so but a friend of mine had a leak rather than full break and it trickled out of her for a full day before she realised it was her waters. You are full term now so it is likely this is your waters if it didn't smell like urine so best to get it checked by the midwives as you can. You can put yourself at increased risk of infection if you don't go into labour within 24 hours or so of waters breaking. Good luck!

they popped my waters when i was in labour and it was also a tiny amount everyone makes it out like it’s going to be loads and mine was just a little trickle . definitely get it checked x

chances are it’s just your body leaking out stuff that aren’t your waters. i had the same i thought my waters went but they didn’t and i made my grandad drive me all the way to the hospital for nothing. x

Mine was a small trickle and I was in pre-term labour!😂defo get it checked they’ll do a swab, takes 5 minutes!

Defo go in! I ignored a tiny amount and I ended up with sepsis and emergency c section!

The same thing happened to me except it was a good few teaspoons worth and kept happening throughout the day so I was convinced it was my waters but it wasn’t, however always always get it checked out. I ended up getting a sweep whilst I was there as I was also full term so it wasn’t a wasted trip but even if I hadn’t, it always needs to be checked at triage
