Hey, what options has anyone used in the UK for counselling post miscarriage. I had a second-trimester loss, and major blood loss event and think it would be worth me talking it though with a professional. My GP gave me the details for Tommy's and also Miscarriage Association. Tommys suggest using a work EAP. I called them as said they could support but a specialist charity might give me better help. The miscarriage Association links to Petals Charity which ive contacted but im not in the catchment of the list of hospitals they work with. Im South wales based and looking for in person around here or bristol, or if anyone found online worked- interested to know more on that too.

Firstly, I am beyond sorry for your loss. Honestly the mental health support around miscarriage is absolute SHITE. My trust had a service called Forget me Not - but it was a 9 month waiting list. I was very very lucky and had BUPA via my work and got 20 sessions for counselling on them. Do you have any similar work benefits? X
