Ovarian cyst question

Mine burst on Christmas Day a couple years ago, my husband called 999 because I couldn’t move or talk I was in that much pain. He ended up carrying me to the car because I couldn’t walk down the stairs! X

Also your ovaries are very close to your bowel so if you have a poop on its way it can brush past your cyst and be painful 🫣 x

I only found out about mine when it popped and it was agonising. Like white hot pain. Collapsed immediately. But when they pop, if you do what I did and not go to hospital, they disappear depending on the type of cyst. I was just lucky I had left over painkillers from my episiotomy because otherwise I would’ve been in hospital.

Wow. I had no idea this could happen. I had one a year ago and my doctor told me that with a few months of not taking clomid/leterezole/progesterone or anything else that would ramp my hormones it would shrink and go away. Over about 4-5 months it did just that. Went back to doing fertility treatments and got another one. Now I'm pregnant and at each of the ultrasounds they have been measuring it but it seems to be pretty stable size despite my hormones rocketing up. I have had no pain with either one.

It hurts bad! I went to the ER thinking I had appendicitis or something

It hurts really bad when I’ve had some pop in the past I’ve passed out from the pain or just vomited because it was that intense
