So I’m due to go on a hen party next weekend just for the afternoon/night and I’m soo nervous to leave baby girl. She will be with her dad (my husband) and I know he’s more than capable but I’m so nervous to leave her. He struggles sometimes with bed time as baby girl really likes to fight her sleep so I end up doing bedtime 9 times out of 10. And I’m worried he will just let her “cry it out” for a while before he goes to pick her up and settle her. I really want to go out and have a good time. But I’m just nervous about going out anyway in general because I’m still not 100% loving my new mum body. But mostly I’m nervous about leaving baby as it will be the longest we’ve been apart 🙈

I'm out next weekend only 3 until 6.30 as I have to cosleep but I'm also nervous even though my partner is amazing to with the kids x

You do what you feel is best so you can feel calm and comfortable. Having a baby at 4 months is still so brand new , they will understand x

Could he maybe do more bedtimes between now and then to give you a little bit more confidence to go out? X

For some reason these babies became angels when with only dad and go to bed without a fuss. Look you go and enjoy your time as you deserve this. Sometimes as mums we need to stop being soo controlling and let the dad do their thing. He aint there to harm the baby, he will do this best to make sure she is sleeping. Im at the same and bloody make a list of what he needs to do but he is great at it. Us mums just make them feel like they aint that good or watch over them too much.
