Around 2 hours sometimes slightly over/under,
Lots of opportunities for movement so having him on his mat with toys around so he can roll/independent play,
Lots of face to face interaction: singing/talking
Working on assisted sitting (lots of ways to encourage this on TikTok)
He watches me whilst I do chores around the house but it can be hard trying to keep a 5 month old entertained for more than 5 minutes 😅

Mine is on her mat for 5 minutes and then she gets bored 🥲

Mostly she just really likes playing with a tea spoon. Her wake windows are about 2-2.5 hours. I'll have her on her mat, my knee and her chair. She'll happily play with the spoon, a fabric ball and a few different teething rings or I'll sing to her. We go out for walks and to rhyme time at the library or museum. I have to admit I put in a lot less effort with this one than I did with my first, part of that might just be that she doesn't need as much or maybe I overstimulated my first by doing too much 😅

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!
