Higher recommend you buy some ice packs (these ones linked are the perfect size for injections sites)..

I unfortunately had to endure the blood thinners during the IVF process (2 rounds) and as late as 6 weeks after having baby! Im truly a veteran.. 🤣..

They bruise you easily and are nasty things! I hope it isnt as long as me (40+ weeks of them).. But these will defo take the edge off! 💖🙏🏻

Dont inject on the same side as the other injection. Mine mixed under the skin and hurt so badly! I even swell up and became all red on the injection spot.

Agree with the ice packs, they are an essential to numb the area.
We found that if you administer the solution slowly, it doesn’t bruise as much but be prepared for bruising and comfy clothing is a must!
I did find that holding an ice pack in one hand helped distract from the pain of the injection, wish you all the luck! X

These are a standard protocol at my clinic. I took lovenox injections for like the first 10 weeks or something?? I honestly don’t remember. They burn a bit going in but honestly weren’t that bad! They get tougher over time as your belly starts to swell a bit it’s harder to get the needle in. I did all my injections like an inch or two to the left and right of my belly button.
