Should always wet it use leave in then brush it x

With my daughter's hair I wet it down, add some leave in then comb through with a wide tooth comb then scrunch through a whipped butter gel and her curls hold beautifully xx

Please just say curly dear, curly hair needs moisture. Get a spray bottle with warm water a little leave in conditioner - cream of nature or shea moisture and carrot, coconut or jojoba oil add a little curling cream. Use all non toxic and baby friendly products. This hair texture is beautiful just educate yourself and add moisture. May need to be done twice or more daily. Please teach him in the future how to take care and appreciate his beautiful hair not to have negative feelings. Curly hair and all hair is beautiful hair!

I would say for now, just keep it moisturized and detangled like other mamas have said. Maybe you can also learn braiding from now if you'd be interested as it will give his style versatility as he gets older and his hair gets longer. Braiding also helps stimulate growth and improve scalp health. Try sticking to black owned hair product brands that truly love and nourish curls and coils.

My son isn’t mixed race but had very curly/coily hair at that age. I used coconut oil & water and Young Kings hair care and found it helped hold on to that moisture. Sometimes you have to try a few different products before you find what works best.

Ugh. I hate so much that you, someone that’s is clearly ignorant has a mixed child, his hair is not nappy…. His hair is literally just a little frizzy but you’d be able to come through it just fine. Like Jfc
