Question

Teething fevers? Is it a myth or is it true? My toddler has no other symptoms besides a fever. Anybody else experience this. I read online & his pediatrician said teething doesn't cause fevers so i'm curious.

Mine is currently going through the same thing. I thought it was due to teething

Yea, teething does not cause fevers, but toddlers are always fighting 100s of little bugs and will get fevers often with no other symptoms, I hope your little one breaks their fever fast with no other symptoms

I say it’s true

My 17 months old in the beginning of teething would get small fevers. So I am not sure if she was also fighting something but I do know she had fevers while teething. She doesn’t get fevers anymore and she just had a couple molers come in. But my experience is the same as yours

Teething doesn’t cause fevers, but babies put more things in their mouths while they’re teething. This exposes them to more germs, so it’s very common for babies to get fevers while teething.
