Night wakes

I don’t mind waking in the night for my baby. But every 2 hours, sometimes 1 is starting to have an impact on me. His sleep changed when he turned 3 months. We have had a couple nights of longer stretches, but that was all for the last 5 weeks. I just want a longer stretch back. 😅 I am aware it is so developmentally normal to wake at this age. I did expect to have slightly longer stretches by now though. I understand it could be a regression!

In my head this is my life now. When you are in it, it seems forever. It doesn’t help society has expectations of longer sleep as the baby comes out of the newborn stage. I am not looking for advice as I know it’s a phase, just reassurance!

Please don’t comment if your baby sleeps through the night 😂

It's so so normal there growing rapidly need more feeds and want comfort . It's not forever so try not to worry about it . ( From a reflux allergy baby who never sleeps on cot ) My first was the exact same and by 6 months he loved going in his big cot x

I needed to hear this this morning as we’re waking every hour, sometimes more. Honestly feels like torture! I breastfeed through the night and it’s the only thing that will get him back down. I keep trying to remember it’s a phase and it will end but when you’re in it it’s pretty hard to think of any positive. Hopefully our babies will be the brightest buttons as they’re developing so well 🤞🏽🤞🏽🩵🩵

Mine was exactly like this from 3 months but all of a sudden the last 3 nights he has turned a corner and only had 1 wake... I think it just happens 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was exactly the same for about 4 weeks - up every hour and 20 mins like clockwork! He’s just turned 19 weeks and has only woken once or twice the past 3 nights and is sleeping longer stretches each night. I tried everything but he eventually just turned a corner! I have been trying to put him down awake or just drowsy, not sure if that’s helping or if it was just a coincidence!

Mine is 16 weeks and the same. I’ve attached the Rockit to the crib and that does really help get him back off without me fully waking up to rock him! Xx

Leaky nappy advice

We use mamia nappies and have had no issue until now. We are using size 3 but she is leaking through them every night as she sleeps through the night. We’ve tried 4+ for night but they are still too big. Does anyone have any advice or any other brand that might hold more in a size 3?

Ms Rachel ??

How many of you are putting ms Rachel on??? I’ve just introduced it to my 8 month old and it’s like sorcery. I feel so guilty putting it on because LO don’t take his eyes off the screen, but it’s the only way I’m getting 20/30 minutes during Velcro baby stage. I’ll put it on twice a day for up to 30 mins at a time, the rest of the time we’re out the house, playing with toys or he’s with me doing jobs around the house. Should I even feel guilty?😩

Thoughts on this pram?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and thinking of prams to get my baby. I saw this on Amazon and it seems affordable, plus the reviews are very positive about the quality of the product. Are there any mamas in the group that got this specific model? If so, how did you find it?

Toddler tippy toeing

My daughter is two been tippy toeing ever since shes learned how to walk. Not sure if it’s a phase or if it’s autism. If it helps shes also a really active baby. Has anyone experienced this with their toddler?

TBH

To be honest- I’m starting to hate that my husband gets to sleep peacefully , getting virtually uninterrupted sleep, while I’m being woken up every other moment by our 5 month old 🙃 I’m so so tired, my body hurts, and I have a little cold that won’t go away. My baby sleeps next to me and feeds on demand (it’s my fault, I know). I tried to regulate him without the boob, tonight, and he started crying. My husband tried to soothe him for less than a minute, but I took him back when I saw my husband was getting irritated by him crying. I ended up feeding him until he was mostly asleep, now he’s sleeping on my chest. I’m awake, I have to use the bathroom, and forgot to take my contacts out, and put nursing pads in, but I’m stuck. Meanwhile, my husband went back to sleep immediately 😮‍💨😤 how do people do this long term? 😩
