Tips for semaglutide?

I’ve been trying to lose weight for over a year and I was doing intermittent fasting, calorie deficit, going to the gym 3 times a week, spending an hour on cardio everyday etc but didn’t lose a single pound. I also got really burnt out really fast.

I ended up starting semaglutide since I can’t lose weight naturally (most likely due to my thyroid) and I’m trying to determine how much exercise I need to include. I burnt myself out last time so I don’t know if that is maintainable. Has anyone else on here lost weight with semaglutide and have any tips on how much exercise and what not you did?? I’ve got my diet figured out.

I am on zepbound. For me, i didn’t even lose weight on it when i started it. A lot of people lose so quick once they get on injection and I didn’t start loosing weight until i started lifting weights on my third month. I was doing cardio before. Riding stationary bike and walking. Now, i have lost close to 40lbs and i lift 3-4 times a week with some Pilates/sculpt flow classes and 2-3 power walks/3-5 spinning classes a week. Now, i have been working on 10+ hours a day, and i don’t have a lot of time. So I prioritize lifting 3-4 times a week with 2-3 spinning classes a week.

I have apple watch and I use app called bevel on my phone. It’ll tell you your recovery scores and strain scores and suggest you how hard you can push yourself depending on your data. It’s been helpful.

I’m not on one but my grandma is and I’m working with her doctor. Strength training it’s important cause the weight loss cause cause muscle weakness to occur too

If you have an Orangetheory or similar gym near you that’s a good one to use. Their classes are split cardio and strength and you can choose which one to start with. Strength first helps maintain/gain muscle while cardio first just burns everything.

Weight lift first than cardio after! And progressively overload with weights.
