Advice and question… My 4yo, turning 5 in June can sing her ABC’s, trace most letters(but not write on her own) and identify several letters(but not all). I’ve been working with her to learn sounds and write letters but I’m afraid, is she falling behind?
Would love any recommendations of products/programs to do as she starts
Kindergarten next year.

Are you in the US? Not sure on the schooling over there, but here in the UK my 4yo could write & recognise his name and every letter and number independently before he started school last September. He just turned 5 in Feb and can now write simple sentences and read short books thanks to being at school!
I am in the US. She is scheduled to start kindergarten this fall and currently is in preschool.

Leapfrog letter factory is still highly recommended by all my teacher friends turned parents (for helping cement letter sounds)

My son turns 4 next week. Recognizes his name, can hardly trace shapes, letters, or numbers (he's behind on this), Recognizes most letters uppercase and lowercase, Recognizes numbers up to 17. He was never in daycare, is in his first year of preschool and will do another year of preschool because of when his birthday falls.
Dollar stores sell a lot of activity books with age/school level that you could also practice with!
