My daughter turns 11 this year and has been dealing with acne also. I just bought her cute heart and star shaped pimple patches. Makeup could make the acne worse possibly

Absolutely no foundation. Fix the issue first. Find other way to make it go away. Cause then comes the issue of it looking weird under foundation and no self confidence being taught.

I had terrible acne by the time I was 12. My mom did allow me to wear foundation which I am thankful for! I wish I had known how to apply it properly and also how to take better care of my skin but there was no tik tok back then lol and my mom didn't wear makeup or know anything about it. If you can educate her, I would allow her to wear it. I know wearing it for school or outings helped my self esteem immensely. I didn't wear it at home usually.

Foundation on top of ance only makes the situation worse. Address the issue with cleaners and ance products that are effective. Foundation clogs the pores.

My baby girl turns 11 tomorrow, I wouldn’t do foundation, she’s having acne too. I have gotten her a cute make up palette from Amazon just tinted lip glosses eye shadow cute short length nail tops & or nail decor is good for that age in my opinion. Now is a time to get her a skincare routine then foundation late later. At least you’ll know she’ll have a cleaning & hydration routine down first. They have a few different kids skincare lines. Watch the ingredients as always. How they eat is a big factor too.

No foundation, my girl is a bit insecure about her skin as well. I bought her a gentle skin cleanser, face cleansing brush and blemish pads so she can take care of her skin. She doesn't use it consistently lol but she was happy to have it
