So my results from the glucose test were good (that’s positive) but It looks like I have anemia. Someone in the same situation? Waiting to see what my doctor says, but any tips would be appreciated.

They'll prescribe you iron supplements. I ended up going to the hospital 2 weeks ago bc I felt off and I found out I had anemia there. Its getting better w the iron. Super common so don't sweat it

I had anemia with my first and had to do iron infusions. I’m assuming it’ll be the same for this pregnancy.

Yay for passing the glucose test! Do you mind sharing what your levels were for anemia? It looks like my iron is pretty low as well but my doctor isn’t planning to treat it - just curious!

They told me I have it to but I’m just a little confused because my iron is way above normal almost at 400

How did the test go ! What flavor did you get soo curious I am taking mine next week and I am nervous but also prepared I think I will be good and baby will be good just want some more info

Some helpful anemia iron supplement info from my hematologist:
1) be sure you’re taking ferrous bisglycinate rather than ferrous sulfate. Helps with constipation
2) oddly, you’ll get better absorption taking every other day
3) Avoid dairy 1-2 hours before/after
3) Add in at least 25mg every other day with vitamin C (supplement or fruits)
4) if you’re having constipation issues once you add iron supplements, you can add two daily fiber pills, 1-2 magnesium citrate pills, and use a glycerine suppository if it’s really bad
I'm 35+4 but throughout my pregnancy (and last) had lots of braxton hicks/tightenings and threatened preterm labour. Despite 3x positive actim partus preterm labour tests it has never come to anything, on a couple of occasions I was admitted for steroids and monitoring but it has always passed with no cervical changes or dilation.
I've been having lots of irregular tightenings and discomfort generally but yesterday was a bit more intense through the day and I timed them in the evening, carried on in a similar pattern for a few hours. It died down, I slept and today is back to 'my normal' of irregular, uncomfortable tightenings and generally feeling achy and uncomfortable.
Has anyone else had similar to this and how long did it last before you went into labour? I didn't labour with my first baby as I ended up with an elective but hoping for a VBAC this time round

My tummy has always been my problem area. I’ve now got 3 under 3 kids and after the first 2 I lost the weight pretty quickly and went back to my previous weight. Now after my 3rd baby I’m 6 months postpartum and my stomach still bulges outwards under my breasts if you know what I mean so I still look pregnant. Not the lower tummy but the bit that curves out under the breasts if you know what I mean and I don’t know if this will ever go down? It’s like it’s muscle that’s used to being pregnant now!

Honestly mammas the 2nd pregnancy with a toddler is rough! I don’t remember this much nausea or gagging, the loss of appetite or the back pain and random cramping and oh my the tiredness! Anti sickness meds don’t help, they make me gag even more and I’m sweating 24/7. Oh what a day and I’m not even 8 weeks yet 😴
