My baby stiffens her whole body straight when I’m trying to feed her and goes tense? She’s very difficult to feed I feel like I’m loosing my mind she’s 10 weeks old it’s just constant. I’ve tried everything to help nothing is helping! 😭

My son did this and would fight feedings. He was diagnosed with reflux at 6w. I changed position, place I'd feed him, times, hold him upright, burp after every ounce. Only thing that helped was switching to HiPP anti-reflux formula

I’m thinking reflux

My boy does this sometimes and I think it’s wind. He also has a tongue tie which doesn’t help. We have an appointment next week which should hopefully sort it. I wind him after every ounce also and keep him upright for a while after a bottle. But I dread feeding him because it can be so stressful 😣
I need to make an appointment to get her checked it’s gone on for too long now, it’s getting me so down! She’s just not a happy baby at all, it’s constant she is always fighting me with the bottle I just never know how to help her. And if she’s not napping (which seem to last 5 minutes now) she’s cranky and upset all the time 🤦🏻♀️😭

Oh no I'm sorry this really is a struggle. We've struggled a lot as well, I think it's mostly trapped wind and constipation as well she only poos like every other day sometimes doesn't have a poo for days!! Ive found Dentinox in a few of her bottles works really well, and lots of leg pedalling before feed and after feed... I know she'll spit up but honestly it's better than her being uncomfortable with trapped wind. She loves it when we do leg pedalling after a feed, she can go from screaming wildly to all happy and smiles.

I fed my baby leaning to the side so she could be upright. Mostly for the same reflux issue. It seemed to help her.

Hi mama, this could be a few things or a combination. If baby is straightening her body more so than arching her back I would say it's possibly gas. If she is arching her back then it's possibly reflux. Is she having any trouble with pooping?Do you breastfeed or use formula? If you've been consuming dairy and you breastfeed try limiting or completely cutting dairy out of your diet and see if there's a change. If there is then baby might just have CMPI/CMPA. If you formula fed try the tummy sensitive version for two weeks(has to be two weeks to see notable changes for certain). Also be sure to mention this to her pediatrician who will make a G.I. referral if needed at some point.
