My little girl is 7 months old. She’s always had bouts of nappy rash here and there and Sudocrem has always done the job. The last week she’s had nappy rash quite bad and when we take her nappy off/during bath time, she’s itching it and it’s drawing a little bit of blood.
Sudocrem wasn’t doing much for it so I purchased some Bepanthen which we’ve been using for 3 days and it’s not clearing or looking better. I’m going to call the doctor in the morning but will they just prescribe Bepanthen or will they give her something stronger?
Any advice appreciated!

Have you rolled it? Try canesten and fresh air x

Have you recently changed nappy brands or considered changing the brand to see if that helps? X

Breastmilk if you breastfeed x

May not be this but is the inside of her mouth more white than usual? (Milk can make their tongue white anyway) If there is white patches on her tongue/gums/cheeks along with the rash it could be thrush, especially if you’ve changed nothing. Could also be if she’s weaning something she’s eating is making her bum sore when she poo’s xx

Haven’t used it personally myself but it’s on my list to buy - kit & kin salve, I’ve heard good things it’s very much like the yellow metanium X
